Fan Settings: Old World of Darkness, especially Vampire and Mage, which I'm most familiar with. I'll also play in the True Blood-verse. I can prooooobably work with any other fandom as long as we're playing OCs, if you don't mind giving me a crash course if I'm not familiar with it.
Favorite Theme / Concept: Fluid gender identity, vampirism (duh), religion (Christianity being what I'm most familiar with, especially the more obscure elements of it--and I mean stuff a little less literal than "so an angel and a demon were totally fuckin' and then God was like stop it you guys and they angsted!!!", more like "so there's this priest and this chick who may or may not be related to Lilith, wacky shenanigans ensue"), poverty, street culture, sex work

Adores: Crazygonuts, morally ambiguous characters. Conflict--I don't just mean hurt/comfort, I mean characters disagreeing and fighting, not necessarily getting along but being forced to deal with each other for whatever reason, or characters working together against some outside conflict with equal dramatic tragic moments. Dark, dramatic, heavy shit.
Warnings: I don't pull punches. If you are squeamish, or want fluff, I am not the partner for you. I am pretty upfront and specific about what I like and don't like, and I find that compromising too much makes me unable to enjoy the line, so if we're both making huge sacrifices it's probably not gonna work out. I prefer to play characters in the age range of mid teens to mid twenties. I like playing bottoms, but I hate playing spineless characters.
Interested in: I'm looking for someone who wants to play ... I would shit a brick to be able to play a vampire/human, vampire/ghoul, or vampire/fledgling relationship in a WoD setting where I can be the latter.

Peeves: I will never play with someone who can't spell, and thinks role play is serious business. It's just a game. It's all in fun. Don't get your panties twisted. I also hate first person role play, and prefer script or third person. And I hate overpowered characters. They piss me off. I want personality to override power, not the other way around.
Adores: I will worship someone who plays ... any of the male characters from any of my genres, whom I have a chemistry with and doesn't mind a bit of darkness or silliness from time to time. Also, anyone who needs to stretch their writing skills, get familiar with playing a character (any character over 17) or anyone open-minded enough to engage in a crossover.
Warnings: I don't take my role play seriously. It's strictly to relieve stress. This isn't to say that I won't put my heart into RPing with you but at the end of the day you should realize it's just a game. Also, I tend to take on very adult themes when I RP. Cute stuff is for people with no stomach. I like controversy, very dark and emotionally heavy stuff. On the flip side, if you want to do something completely random, that is totally fine with me.

This is an update - my profile seems to be misleading for many. Let me clarify.

Peeves: I will never play with someone who ... Can't spell, only plays uke, is inconsiderate of what other players are looking for and only focuses on their own demands, sits back and wait for me to direct the whole plot, often disappear without so much as a "Gotta go!", always writes actions only (I'm asking for psychological level of interaction), or always writes shorter than one paragraph.
***These are 2 things I want to note:
1. Just because I enjoy playing 'evil' or 'killer' characters does not mean that I am automatically given the role of super manly-grouchy BWAHA antagonist! In my views, Grey/Evil/Killer/Sadist does not equal Manly/Seme. I play switch. Please understand this fully, or ask to clarify. I'm patient and do not want to disappoint you; nor do I want to be disappointed in turn.
2. I play characters who look harmless, but enjoy overpowering those whom you expect to overpower him
Adores: I will adore someone who plays ... seme vs seme type interaction, multi-layered characters with depth, surprising plot twists (I'm a cat, bait me with curious things), patiently developed relationships within relatively simple settings. I adore the process of healing and self-fulfillment journey.
Warnings: I do not do watersports, scat, furries, or whimpy, weak, and so-innocent-that-my-brain-remains-empty characters.
Interested in: I'm looking for someone who wants to play Well-rounded characters in response to some subtly controversial characters I have. I am looking for something along the lines of psychological hurt/comfort themes. I've played villains for a long time and am not so incredibly obsessed with it as of the current moment, even though I'd still enjoy playing serial killers if you have a refreshing idea in mind. In such cases, I would look for players who do not mind gore, violence, and blood.

There's nothing more fun than characters actually being allowed into a bar and served properly. It sure as hell beats the kiddie table.
Peeves: I will never play with someone who ... can't spell, plays unrealistic bimbos or any sort of Mary-Sue/Gary-Stu, is pushy and inconsiderate, can't string together a proper sentence.
Adores: I will worship someone who plays ... a well thought-out character with strengths and flaws who has a history and could almost be a living, breathing person. I also want someone who will play more than one character so that they can travel down more than one path and enjoy more aspects of the game.
Warnings: This role play involves me holding some pretty massive cards and you trusting me to play them at the opportune and enjoyable moment. I want someone who is okay with making a character and having said character at a disadvantage at first, but then steadily growing over time and evolving. Even want to play your favorite vampire character from the start and watch him/her morph into the grand master of the coven? It's a little like that, sans vampires. You just get to trust that I'll deliver a magnificent story. I know it's not for everyone, but I just got a tiny bit sick of role playing with the plot all laid out nice and neat for both players. I'm the kind of person that burns the road map before driving and now it's my turn to give the same experience to someone else.
Interested in: I'm looking for someone who wants to play ... in a modern setting with multiple characters leading normal lives and a tiny bit of drama therein. You get super bonus points if you play someone in law enforcement or the fire department and can play them well. Do a little research. Lord knows I have.

Peeves: I will never play with someone who ...
1) Disappears without warning. Sorry, I know that real life happens, and I understand if you have something going on. But I HATE it when my partners vanish without a trace and without warning.
2) Does not communicate. In line with #1. If you start playing with me and don't like it, SAY SOMETHING. I am not psychic or a mind-reader - saying nothing and then just disappearing because you are unhappy with something is very poor form.
3) Can't spell or use grammar. I'm not perfect, and I'm no spelling/grammar nazi, but if you cannot form and use complete sentences and at least make a good-faith effort to get spellings right, then we're going to have trouble. I know that RP is a way to relax and blow off steam, but it only bugs the crap out of me.
4) Is online but never has the time. When I start RPing with someone I make the time for that person and put other things aside. I ask that you do the same - if you are busy a night or two that's cool. But if I have to ask you for two weeks to play and you never manage to find the time, then it's not going to work.
Sorry, these are things I've run into too many times to count.

1) Is honest. My greatest peeve is dishonesty. I cannot abide those who are not willing to say their minds. If this means that you don't like a plot, speak up. If this means that you are uncomfortable with something or comfortable with something, speak up. I will give you my honesty in return for yours.
2) Feels inspired to be evil and take the dark role on. I play dark themes and evil well. I don't get to be the victim often. If you have the inspiration and desire to reverse roles in a plot, I'm perfectly fine with it. I can do either - I tend to wind up doing the bad guy though.
3) Plots and plans along with me. I have some good ideas, but it's often nice to get a fresh perspective on things. Two heads are better than one, trust me.
4) Is not afraid to play yuri or het. 'nuff said.
Warnings: Don't even think about asking about yaoi. You're not going to find that here. Stuff I won't do is the fairly standard list - bestiality, etc. If you are unsure of if I will play something, ASK.
Interested in: I'm looking for someone who wants to play ... Science fiction/fantasy/anime. Preferably darker themes. Preferably themes that are of a more adult nature. PWP would work in a pinch, but I also like something that I can look forward to coming home to.
